So, re: Ben Browder & Claudia Black….the odd thing here is that Ben was married the whole time he was doing the show. Which is fine, I mean, people have affairs, but the thing is, his wife Francesca Buller was a semi-regular random-alien guest on a bunch of episodes during the whole run of the show (including Raxil in Scratch-and-Sniff). see: http://farscape.wikia.com/wiki/Francesca_Buller
Oh and thanks for doing this/putting yourselves through this. It’s good to revisit this show, and you guys are hilarious. I love Farscape and so I tend to forgive a lot of the stuff you guys (mostly, rightly) give it shit for, but you’ve come far enough that I sense that while you don’t love Farscape, you like it well it enough to keep doing this and you can’t say it doesn’t provide ample fodder for you. The show’s almost 15 years old and maybe you had to be there, but it was a freakin’ trip when it came out, never played it safe, took chances, failed spectacularly, looked great, and, at times, was even kind of awesome and cool.
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks, so whatever. Thanks.

Hey! Thanks for the responses! I knew Browder was (and still is, I think?) married, but seriously that chemistry between them is so real it’s almost unnatural. And I can’t speak for Joe, but I remember loving Farscape through the first season when it first aired, but I never kept up with it. That said, yeah, I still look forward to watching the show every week and recording about it. We do give it a lot of crap at time, but we also did that with the Justice League cartoon in our previous version of the podcast. And I think I can speak for Joe unequivocally that we absolutely loved the Justice League and still found plenty to slag on it.
Agreed the chemistry between them is crazy. Just weird to think that, given that, he’s actually married to that tiny chick who does all those weirdo parts on the show (I think she was also the bone-feeder, sorry, “osteovore” in that season 1 episode).
